The boyfriend and I have been together for nearly two months now, and things are going surprisingly well. Those of you who really know me know just what a rarity this is. I usually feel smothered and pressured and just can’t seem to dedicate myself to the relationship. My current situation is completely different.
I’ve been struggling to come up with a nickname for the boyfriend, but so far I have nothing. So I’ll just continue to call him “the boyfriend” until a clever alias comes to mind.
The boyfriend is totally different from every other guy I’ve ever dated. Whereas I’ve usually gotten involved with guys much younger than myself, he’s less than two years younger. Instead of the usual dark hair, he is blonde. He is patient, caring, and incredibly sweet – not at all like most of the jerks I’ve been involved with in the past. When we first started dating, he asked me why my previous relationships had failed, and he vowed never to make the same mistakes the other guys had made. And he has been true to his word. The man has the patience of a saint!
The boyfriend says that he’s the luckiest man alive. He says that I’m his “better half, his soul mate” and I “complete him in every way”. I’ve dated plenty of guys over the years, but never has one felt so strongly about me. All I can say is that I am the lucky one, for I’ve found the true meaning of love this holiday season.

Thanks for all your support with me and Tish. But I’m the one that’s truly lucky to found her. I promise you all I won’t never hurt her in anyway.
