There have been a few negative comments left on my blog in recent weeks. The perpetrator may be new, but the story is still the same. When you’ve been blogging as long as I have, you’ve seen plenty of rude remarks. I’ve got thick skin, folks. Bring it on.
This is my personal blog, and I’ve been posting to it for four years. It is my forum to keep my friends and family updated on what is going on in my life. It is my space to talk about whatever the hell I want to talk about. And if you don’t like reading what I write, you’re free to leave and never come back.
I don’t write about online trading, politics, or world events. I don’t intend to start. If those are the things that interest you, there are plenty of great blogs out there. Go find them. But if you’re interested in reading about the life and times of a fun-loving Tennessee girl and her dogs, I hope you’ll hang around. And if you’re interested in making a new friend, I hope you’ll drop me a line.

Sorry to hear about the negative remarks, Tish. I’m glad you won’t let it stop you and I hope your entire online experience has way more positives than negatives.
Hugs to you!

Teeni – Thanks so much for the kind words! And the experience has had way more positives than negatives! I’ve made so many great friends (like you!) through my blog. Thanks for everything. Hugs!

I don’t understand some people. If they don’t like your blog, why not just move on and find something that they do like…it’s not like there’s not about a billion other blogs to read. Why be mean? I know my blog isn’t to everyone’s liking, I tend to put everything but the kitchen sink in it, but if they don’t like it, than don’t read it.
And I like your blog and am glad that I’ve started reading it.

John – Thanks for the support! I’m glad you’re reading too! And I’m glad I discovered your blog as well.

Ann – Thanks for the comment, and for your honesty. I just replied to your comment by email. Have a great day!

It’s never good for someone to post a negative comment that just tears someone down on their blog. Bad form.
I would like to see you write some more about your everyday life, but that don’t include plugs for random products. I know it’s a money-making thing for you, but how bout some slice-of-life kind of posts without them for a while?

I just love your blog!!! Keep it up!!!

Tish, yes it is your blog and a very plesant one at that. Do not let the trolls know they bother you, do as I, delete their comments without comment. When they fail to get the desired response, they will go elsewhere seeking negitive attention.

Barry – Thanks for your comment. As soon as I get caught up on the paid link posts I have accepted, I am going to stop writing them. Hopefully you’ll be seeing lots more “slice of life” posts soon!
Thanks for sticking around.
Sandy – Awww. Thank you so much! I love your blog too!
Wm – Thanks for the kind words.
You’re great.

I don’t know what you could possibly have posted that someone could even have made a negative comment about. I’m glad you don’t give a damn…keep up the good blogging!!

I don’t get the troll mentality, either. I just don’t get it. I just wonder why some people spend time trying to make other people feel bad. Very pathetic.
For what it’s worth, I’ve been hooked on your blog for a long time.

Flat Coke – Awww. Thank you. You are just the sweetest person ever. I’m glad we’re friends!
Steve – Thank you! I love your blog too. I still think that photo of your kids with the new baby is just the most precious thing ever! Your daughter’s smile is adorable! Have a great night!

Oh, I’ll always be around. You’ve got me hooked!

I think it’s the standard for most means of communication that people who feel the need to chime in are the complainers more than the people that enjoy your content. As I’m sure you know, your supporters FAR outweigh the others. (#):)

Eh, people have opinions… I think you’re handling it just fine, girl.

Not sure what I can add that hasn’t already been said by everyone else. Just try to ignore the vocal minority and be you. That’s why the rest of us are here, y’know.
