When you spend as much time as I do in the vet’s office, you’re bound to overhear a few funnies. I’ve decided to start sharing some of the ones that have really made me chuckle.
Client: Can you tell me about this dog food?
Tech: Well, it’s specially formulated for dogs with allergies. It doesn’t contain chicken, corn, or any of the other regular ingredients that a lot of dogs are sensitive to.
Client: Does it have meat in it?
Tech: Yes, it has herring in it. It’s a bird.

That is truly scary when the vet tech thinks herring is a bird. Yikes!

Funny. Kat, what kind of food do you feed your dogs. We’ve been really happy with California Natural. Just curious. It’s clear that your dogs are well loved.

Teeni – Definitely! I had a hard time holding in my laugh!
Steve – Thank you for the nice comment! My dogs normally eat Innova Senior, which is actually made by California Natural. I haven’t tried the California Natural brand itself, but my dogs have been so much happier since switching to a holistic food. Molly is currently eating Purina OM until she loses a few more pounds though. She has lost 4 pounds, but needs to lose 6 more!
