Addicted to Coke Zero

Over the past couple of months, I’ve become addicted to Coke Zero. I go through at least one 12 pack per week. If you haven’t tried this stuff, man oh man! No calories, no carbs, yet it tastes like real Coke! I’ve never been a big fan of Diet Coke because of the after taste, so Coke Zero is perfect. And I can drink as much as I want! Every now and then I can find them on sale – three 12 packs for $10. That’s when I stock up. I’ve also recently started entering the My Coke Rewards codes online, which I’ve never done in the past. I’m up to 69 points so far! Just a few more and I can get a free 12 pack! Yippee!

Diet Coke’s dirty little secret is that it is based on the New Coke formula that the company tried to introduce in the ’80′s. Coke Zero is actually based on the real thing. Amazing it took them so long to figure out that people might actually prefer that taste.

Sorry, Tish, but I’ll take Diet Coke over Coke Zero anyday. Though, I’m starting to hate all plain diet sodas. The Cherry Coke Zero is pretty good, though. But I”m addicted to Diet Pepsi Vanilla myself.

A 12-pack a week? Sheesh. You trying to make sure your body stays preserved for centuries, huh? :)

Back in my student days, I drank around two litres of full fat Coke a day – I’m surprised I ever slept!

Are you kidding me?! I can go through a 12 pack in two days! It’s ridiculous! I drink one and then not even an hour later I will be craving (like SERIOUSLY craving) another one! I’m going to develop a tumor or something, I’m sure!
