Yesterday, on her fifth day of Lysodren therapy, Cruella went in for her ACTH stim test. The doctors told me not to give her another dose until receiving the results. So no Lysodren for Miss Cruella last night or this morning. I heard from the doctor around noon today. Cruella’s cortisol levels have dropped, but not enough for her to move into the maintenance phase of her treatment. She will be starting the Lysodren again tonight and continuing through Tuesday morning, when she will have the stim test repeated. The doctors are hopeful that she will be nearing the end of the induction phase by that time. If she shows any signs of needing to end sooner, I will have to take her in when I notice them. So far, Cruella is doing very well. She seems to feel great!
