When I moved into this house last year, there was a serious spider infestation. I signed a one year contract with Orkin, and now I rarely see a spider. But as luck would have it, my contract is coming to a close - and my property has been invaded by swarms of gigantic mosquitoes! These aren’t your ordinary mosquitoes at all. They’re the size of dragonflies, and when I step out into the yard, it sounds as if an army of helicopters is coming in to land. I guess this means I’ll have to continue to pay that $71 pest control fee every other month. I’m starting to think that the Orkin man is the real blood sucker here.

You, too? I’ve never seen so many as I have this year. Ick!

uh-oh. I hate mosquitos in summer. One always seems to somehow get into the house, in the bedroom at night and divebomb you while you try to sleep. It’s so freaky. I don’t know much about them but I do believe the females are the larger ones from what I’ve heard. Is it just me or does it hurt more these days when you get bit by one? I don’t remember feeling the bites as a kid but nowadays it seems like they are stabbing me with a straw!

Ugh. I hate the annual mosquito infestation. As it is, we just dealt with a honeybee infestation — inside our house. Ick.
