Busting My Butt at the Gym

I recently started going back to the gym, and I’m loving it! I’ve been focusing on a cardio workout, but I’m about to get involved in weight training again as well. I absolutely love the Cardio Theater at my gym. They play movies all the time, so you can catch a good flick while you’re working out. It makes the time fly by, and it makes me work out longer than I probably would have otherwise. Facing the Giants was on this morning when I worked out, and it was Hitch when I went a couple of days ago.

I go to CourtSouth, and I really enjoy it there - except for my admirer. This employee must live there. It doesn’t matter what time of night or day I show up. He’s always there. And he always greets me by name and strikes up a conversation. He even told me once that he thought I’d look great in boy shorts! I’m flattered, but completely uninterested.

If any of you are members at CourtSouth, I’d love to have a workout partner. And if you don’t have a gym membership, I’m always up for walking a track. It’s so much easier to stay motivated when you have a partner!

woohoo, work it tish! hehe! i’ve been doin some butt-kickin workouts myself. i got Kim Lyons’ new book (she was the red trainer on the Biggest Loser) and it is AWESOME. the workouts are circuits of weights and cardio and im seeing results just after 2 weeks.

i hope you find a great workout partner! i agree, it helps so much to have someone there to keep you motivated. maybe if you did wear boy shorts to the gym you could find one real quick! hahah! ;)

have fun and keep it up!!

You go, girl! Bust that butt! Heh. I really need to start hitting a gym too, though I’m probably just a little to far to be a gym partner. (That’d be one loooong commute I think. Heh.) But that Cardio Theater sounds awesome. I find it helps sooo much to watch something good while you’re on the treadmill. If I’m watching TV and nothing’s on it just draaaaaags. But if I pop in a movie or a good DVD, the time flies.

I would like a exercycle in front of my TV so while I’m watching Charmed or L&O I could be doing something useful!
Hugs and Sugar to you Sweetie~~
