Escape to Mustang Island!

If you’d like to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, I’ve found just the place. Mustang Island Texas, on the warm Gulf of Mexico, offers a beautiful escape that is sure to make you forget all your worries. You can experience beautiful sunrises and sunsets, long walks on the beach, and activities such as surfing, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, and horseback riding.

Mustang Island is rich in history. In 1519, Spanish Explorer Alonzo Alvarez de Pineda charted this section of the Gulf Coast. It is believed that the Island’s only residents at that time were the Karankawa Indians. Spanish settlers later arrived and introduced horses to the island. By the 1700s, due to the grazing herds of horses, the island was named Wild Horse Island, which later became Mustang Island.

If Mustang Island seems like the place for you, you’re in luck. There is prime waterfront property for sale. The property covers 7 acres with 1,000 feet of unobstructed beachfront view. Grandfathered permits allow building only 150 feet from the water’s edge! As for developing the oceanfront property, you could build a luxury beach home or secure a nice income for yourself by constructing a condo resort.

If you do decide to head down to Mustang Island, don’t forget to invite yours truly for an extended stay!
