Tonight’s episode of American Idol was great as usual. This is going to be a tough week. Two boys and two girls will be eliminated, leaving us with the Top 12. Then everyone will compete against each other, with one person being eliminated each week. The guys are all great in my opinion, but if I had to make a prediction for who will be eliminated this week, I’d say Luke and Danny.
My boy Jason put on an amazing performance of Hallelujah. I’ll post a video as soon as one is available on YouTube. Simon surprised everyone by saying that it was “brilliant”. Other than Jason, my favorite performances were by David Archuleta and David Hernandez.

my faves this week were david hernandez, jason c, and surprisingly–david cook! yeah! i LOVED his version of “hello.” other than the fact that i dont really like to watch his face while he sings, i actually think he has some talent! david h is definitely one of the top guys as far as vocals go…but unfortunately he’s not too interesting. of course jason c’s got it all around…and this week his voice was better than ever.
i definitely think luke should go this week. he’s just not a soloist i dont think. i believe he tours with an a capella quartet, and to me that’s where he probably best fits in. and you’re right, danny needs to go, too!
