I recently switched from regular light bulbs to Ecobulbs. Yes, I’m green.
Literally.
Ever since the switch, everything in my house has a green tint - including yours truly.
My brother recently switched to the Ecobulbs too, but chose a different brand. I called to see if he had the same problem.
“No. Everything in my house is blue.”
So I’m doing my part to save the environment. Unfortunately, I get to choose between looking like The Incredible Hulk or Smurfette in the process.

A bout a year ago I switched every thing to Phillips bulbs; the light is a little more yellow than white, but I’m used to it now. It actually made a big hit in the electric bill, and I’m no longer replacing bulbs every month.
They have a line of bulbs that get brighter quicker - forget the name - I recommend those. The normal ones need a five minute warm up period to reach full brightness.

You should see my room, looks like a disco club, complete with rotating lights and flashing neon everywhere. Only thing missing is the smoke machine.

I switched awhile ago to the Philips ones..I’m used to it ..I got the quick light up ones..and I to I have noticed a drop in the electric bill..

I don’t think blue is a healthy hue to have. Not that green is much better. Hmm. Tough choice. Don’t they have a yellow or red tint to choose from? If so, I’d go with red to give a healthy pink glow. LOL. I hope your electric bill rewards you for your efforts, regardless!

I’d say go with the Smurf bulbs. Maybe you could broker a deal with the company making the Smurfs movie when it’s released. For one meeeelllion dollars you can appear blue and dress up like Smurfette in exchange for pimping their movie all over your blogs.

Yea, you guys purchased the wrong bulbs.
Those weird glowing ones are the NUCLEAR bulbs!
I’d change em all out before your hair starts to fall out and your nipples turn into little fists.
