It doesn't do your blog any favours, either. There is the occasional interesting snippet of your personality coming through the dross of sycophantic 'info-posts' but, for the most part, not enough to make it worthwhile wading through the irritating morass of words. I really would like to know if the advertisers find they get a good response from this sort of marketing strategy. Personally, I make a mental note to never, ever buy any of the product mentioned and to avoid any further reading of your blog.
