It sure is great having that certification exam behind me. I’m finally able to watch movies again! I’ve got three on the agenda for this weekend.
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
- Hairspray
- White Noise 2
Here are my thoughts on a few of the movies I’ve recently watched.
- Eight Below - How could you go wrong with Paul Walker and lots of dogs? This movie was absolutely superb. It’s based on the true story of three Antarctic scientists who are forced to leave their sled dogs behind. The dogs must brave the cruel winter on their own. Unbelievable story of heroism and survival. Keep some tissues handy.
- The Simpsons Movie - I watch The Simpsons from time to time, but I’ve never followed the show religiously like everyone else seems to. Still, the movie was good. Not excellent, but good.
- Balls of Fury - If you’re looking for a few good laughs and absolutely no need to use your brain, this is a good choice. I enjoyed it.
And now, I leave you with one last thought.

I received 8 Below DVD for Christmas…that movie makes me cry every time I see it. Such a wonderful story. Ditto on the hubba hubba!!
Netflix says Hairspray should be in my mailbox TODAY!

Flat Coke - It makes me cry too! But what a great movie! And ah yes, Paul Walker is a total babe! As for Hairspray, I started to watch it last night, and the DVD wouldn’t play! Grrr. Anyway, I returned it to Netflix, so I should have another copy in a couple of days. Let me know what you think of it!

Amy - Haha! Yes, I did say it first. And I know I should feel so shallow, but I don’t. I usually go for the non-hunky guys, so I’m entitled to a fantasy or two about Paul Walker. *sigh* Isn’t he just wonderful?

I couldn’t even finish Eight Below that movie was so depressing. Now give me Rambo 4 and Stallone blowing peoples’ heads clear off their shoulders, I can deal with that! But dogs freezing and starving in the snow!?…TOO MUCH!

Bush - It was indeed difficult to watch at times. But Rambo?? Sorry. I’ll stick with the dogs!
