I was introduced to the concept of online dating quite by accident. It was October 1999, and I had gone through a divorce several months earlier. One night while bored out of my mind, I visited a Knoxville chat room and began chatting with a guy named Chris. After several days of online conversations, we decided to meet. The thought of dating him had never crossed my mind, but imagine my surprise when we met and sparks flew! We dated for nine months, and though the romantic relationship didn’t work out in the end, we are friends to this day.
In the years since meeting Chris, I’ve done a lot of online dating. In fact, I consider myself somewhat of an expert on the topic. I’ve tried all the major dating sites. Since I feel most comfortable while sitting in front of a computer, online dating is the ideal scenario for me. I get to choose whether or not to meet the guys I chat with, and just when I feel comfortable doing so.
Those of you who are familiar with the major online dating sites know just how they operate. For a hefty monthly fee, you are allowed to browse profiles and contact all the people you like. The fee may not be so bad if you find your soul mate during the first month of your subscription, but let’s face it. Just how often does that happen?
I’d like to introduce you to a new player in the game – AFineRomance.com. AFineRomance.com is a completely free dating service. Whether you’re just looking to make new friends or to establish lasting romantic connections, AFineRomance.com is the place for you. As a member, you will receive full access to the site, giving you the ability to post a profile, browse other profiles, and contact other members that you find interesting.
With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, many singles are feeling frustrated and depressed. Don’t allow yourself to be one of them. There is still time to find the love and romance you deserve. Free dating sites could be the answer you’ve been looking for. Visit AFineRomance.com today.

mmmm with two ex’s in the books maybe a stab at the online thing wouldn’t be any worse than the old tried and true method…:):):)

I met the bob on match.com… never dated anyone else… we could be one of their commercials. But we joke that if we had signed up for eharmony.com then we would probably never have met. Certainly their patented methods would never have matched us up. It’s fate, fate I tell you!

I’m not single but I really have no problems with people using sites like that to meet romantic interests. I think by joining that they show they are seriously lookin g for someone and as long as people are smart about using their services that they just might find the love of their life that they may not have been able to find any other way. Also I know a few successful marriages that came out of dating services such as this.

I’ve only signed up on free sites and never really seriously looked for someone online.
Good luck, because there’s a lot of losers like me out there
