Blogger crushes – we all have them! Your crushes may be with bloggers you’d never romantically pursue due to the circumstances that are presently in place, but let’s face it. There are online acquaintances that you deeply admire. You check their blogs each day in hopes of finding new insight into who they are and how they think. You’re elated to catch a glimpse of a new photo. You’re inspired by their words and compelled to leave comments. You think of them even when you’re not online.
My buddy Mike and I had a long talk about blogger crushes recently. He wanted to do a post about them but was a little too shy to confess to his own crushes. I wrote a post about blogger crushes back in 2005, and it got a very good response. So here I go again!
Be bold. Be honest. Leave a comment revealing the names of your blogger crushes and just why you’re so attracted to them. Remember – we realize these are people that, for whatever reason, you might not ever seriously pursue. It’s all in good fun, though, and you just may make someone’s day!

Mike - He’s cute, super nice, caring, and has a great sense of humor. He’s also the best blogging partner ever!
Barry - He’s handsome, fun, an all-around good guy, and he shares my love of the theatre.
Kiltak - He’s one of the sexiest geeks I know. Seriously – have you seen this guy? He could be a model! All that and brains too! Lots o’ brains!
Black Atticus - He’s such a cute, interesting, intelligent fella.
Lecram - Theatre is his life. He’s also handsome, fun, and really knows how to ring in a new year!

Hi Tish, I enter my story here in hopes that you will accept it despite my anonymous posting. I am intensely private and would rather not share who I am with the general public, at least not yet.
Anyway, I came across my blog crush shortly after I joined a large blogging community. I was cruising some of the other sites and came across his. I was totally amazed by his writing. Not only in its style and clarity, but that we also seemed to have the same opinions and outlook on nearly everything. I snooped around a bit more and came across a picture - I was instantly taken in by his eyes. So kind, so gentle, and so intelligent!
But, where I was in my life at the time, I had to relegate all that to a moment of daydreaming and wishing. Then life intruded once again. I returned to his blog a few times over the next year or two, just to see what was going on with him in his life. Mine was still to complicated to even consider meeting anyone.
Then the day came when we had opportunity to meet in person. I wasn’t really expecting it, but given that we had so many interests in common, it was inevitable. We spoke briefly - I melted at the sound of his voice, it is the nicest man voice I have ever heard. His eyes were just as fetching as in that blurry old picture. He was even quicker of wit, smarter and funnier in person than I could have ever expected. And - he seemed at least a little interested in me. I floated home, and indulged in a few hours of daydreaming over the next few days. But once again, life intervened - and I set aside such thoughts to make way for the intrusion of reality. But I kept up with him via his blog, and was more impressed with every post he wrote.
There were a few more such meetings over the next few months. Again, I tried not to babble like a lovesick teen. Again, he seemed somewhat interested, and even started visiting my site, once he knew of it. Then, he asked me, quite casually, if I had seen the latest and greatest, most talked about movie of the day. I hadn’t. He asked if he could take me to see it. I nonchalantly replied, “Sure!” Then babbled something about needing to get home and do laundry or some such before running off. Life is complicated, you know?
But the rest, as they say, is history. Herstory too. Months later, we are happy as can be, spending as much time as we can together, enjoying every minute and just letting the future roll out before us.
Yep, I never saw that one coming.

I guess I will have to admit I have a blogging crush on Mike @ Ordinary Folk, I have been chit chatting back and forth with him about a Bella pattern I could paint and last night I was thinking of how I could do the room sign. I posted some food porn over at my site and of course Mike made a comment and so last night I had a dream I was baking Cheesecakes and of course Mike was there as well as others LOL LOL LOL so I would have to say I have a blogging crush on Mike LOL but trust me NO ONE get crazy because LOL its not that kind of crush….. Of course if you look for my Blog Roll you will see I have a crush on lots of people because I visit just about everyone on it at least once a day!
So I guess I just have a crush on blogs in general, sorry Mike LOL……

I’m gonna go ahead and mention Danielle of Pink Hat SEO. I met her (online, that is) before she started that blog, but it’s where I keep updates on her now. She’s a great writer, obviously intelligent, has a good sense of humor, and is rather cute!
