Lecram has presented me with the Power of Schmooze award!

For those of you who have been under a rock for the last few weeks, this award has been rapidly circulating around the blogosphere. It was originally created by Mike of Ordinary Folk and Danielle of Pink Reviews, both blogging buddies of mine.

Schmoozing is defined by Dictionary.com as the ability to “converse casually, especially in order to gain an advantage or make a social connection.” In his original post about the award, Mike says that “when it comes to blogging, schmoozing is your ticket to making new friends, getting yourself noticed and building a reputation. Some bloggers are gifted with the ability to schmooze and others not so much. ”

As I said, Lecram thinks I have the power of schmooze! Here is what he had to say.

“Tish: A delight (and quite the hottie) whom I actually spent breaking in the New Year’s with once via chatting… I think has one of the widest circle of blog friends around. She is actually involved in a Blogathon this Saturday to raise funds for the Glaucoma Foundation (click here for details) so go by and support a good cause. You really have to be an ace schmoozer to do something like that.”

Flat Coke and Flies - Let’s face it. Flat Coke can schmooze with the best of them! She’s beautiful, funny, and people tend to buzz around her like…well…flies! She has an ever-growing circle of blog friends, and I am very happy to be one of them!

Sugar Queens Dream - I’ve been reading Sugar Queen’s blog for a short while now, and her friendly nature never ceases to amaze me. I’ve seen her making rounds all over the blogosphere. It seems that ever time I read a blog, I’ll see a comment from Sugar Queen! Quite the schmoozer indeed!

Johann the Dog - I’m sure you’ve all seen lots of comments from Johann on my blog. As if having the ability to blog isn’t enough, he’s a schmoozer too! He trots around the blogosphere leaving a trail of comments wherever he goes. He’s by far the friendliest blogging dog I’ve ever met!

Danielle - Danielle is one of the creators of this award, but I don’t think she has actually received it. If you take a look at her blog, you’ll see that she has dubbed herself Queen of Schmooze! In fact, she leaves so many comments over at Ordinary Folk that there is a friendly little contest going on there. Danielle is an awesome blogger, and I am always happy to see her comment here.

MizMouthy - Miz started her current blog just a couple of months ago, but since that time, she has really made her way around the internet! She leaves and receives lots of comments, and she has made lots of blogger friends in a very short period of time. She’s one of my favorite schmoozers!
