1. The Misanthropic: Name something (about humanity) that you absolutely hate. I hate that there are people who thrive on meddling in other people’s personal business.
2. The Meritricious: Expose someone or something that’s phony, fraudulent, or bogus. Those emails in which someone in a foreign land asks you to allow him to deposit huge sums of money into your bank account. I get those things all the time!
3. The Malcontent: Name something you’re unhappy with. My mortgage payment

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for. Until a few months ago, I had a wonderful friendship with G. I miss that. I miss him. I wish we could talk like we used to. And G, I know you’re reading this. I apologize for my behavior, and I hope that you’ll consider dropping me a line.

Don’t you wish you could reverse spam anyone who sends you that kind of stuff (including the spam faxes, which I get at my office ALL THE TIME). Your email system (or fax machine) would just automatically block the offending address or number and send out an email bomb that would flood their box with about 1,000 massive files. No, that’s not very forgiving or gracious, but it’s the way I feel some days.
