We caught a snake on one of those glueboards once, IN OUR BEDROOM CLOSET. Scott tried to remove it using oil, but he wasn't as patient and gentle as you were with your lizard. The snake didn't make it... the oil, did, however, work well when I gently removed the arm of an inquisitive toddler a few weeks later. I completely understand what you’re dealing with.
