I am searching for unique and interesting blogs for a project that I’m working on, and I could use your help!
Do you know of any blogs that dare to be different? Perhaps they are community art projects or weekly memes. Maybe they are written by very unique individuals with very differing viewpoints. Anything is fair game. I just want a list of blogs that are anything but ordinary. Please comment with some of your favorite unique and interesting blogs.
I will reveal details about this secret project within the next few days! Thanks!

I’d recommend my 83 year-old friend Paul Moor’s blog to you, Tish, as unique for a number of reasons, but I’ll let you discover why I think of it as unique for yourself. http://www.paul-moor.com
For other reasons, I’d recommend Web Worker Daily at http://webworkerdaily.com/.
And one other that I find interesting is http://sailing-to-byzantium.blogspot.com/.
I could go on, but that should give you an interesting mix from my perspective.

I can’t think of any off the top of my head, but leave it with me. And in the meantime, you’ve been tagged! There’s a meme waiting for you at my site!

Seriously. Set aside a day … a whole day … go back into the archives starting Nov 1, 2006 and start reading. Bring a box of tissues, and be prepared to change your whole outlook on life, love, God, the world. It’s the most amazing writing I have ever seen in my life.

Perry ~ I checked out Paul’s blog. As I quickly scanned down the page, I saw a photo of a dog and stopped to read the related post. By the end, I was in tears and felt compelled to leave a comment. I know that you’re a dog lover just like me, and just like Paul, so I know you can relate. And I did see that you had posted a comment as well. I will definitely be checking out more of Paul’s blog. Thanks for letting me know about it! Thanks for the other recommendations as well. I will check each of the blogs out. And if you think of any other interesting blogs, please let me know! Hope to see you at a blogfest soon!
Mark ~ Thanks for the tag! You know how much I love memes! I will let you know as soon as I’ve posted! Thanks for the blog recommendations too. I will check them all out. I saw a link on your blog a while back for mirksomebogle, and I checked it out at that time. I was born with the last name Bogle and don’t know anyone on that side of my family, so I took great interest in this particular blog. I haven’t checked it out in a while, though, so I’ll do that now. Thanks again!
LissaKay ~ That sounds like my type of blog! I’ll save that one for when I’m at home though. I just read Paul Moor’s blog and burst into tears at work! Thanks for the recommendation! Hope to see you again soon!

Hands down the funniest stuff writting out there is by Crystal at http://boobsinjuriesanddrpepper.blogspot.com/ Though not through the top 5 posts or so–there’s some family crisis stuff going on. But get beyond that, and you’ll start crying again. Or peeing your pants. Seems alot of her readers do that on a regular basis.

http://www.gapingvoid.com/ - A guy in marketing blogging how things have changed, and what new stuff he’s trying now. He also likes to doodle on the back of business cards and posts the results.
http://www.gapingvoid.com/ - She was a community manager at one of the large online games - i.e. she used to deal with the worst asshats on the ‘net. Now she’s free of that job and doesn’t mind posting about her former life, now that the gloves are off.
http://mondays.pwop.com/ - Not so regular podcast done on Monday. A few tech geeks get together and rant. Very funny. Also, very blocked from my work.

Mike ~ Thanks so much for the suggestions! Do you mind to give me the second link again? It’s a duplicate of the first. I’ll check them all out!
Erica ~ Mark’s blog definitely rocks! I’m a regular reader.

I have to recommend Carol Cooper’s blog from England at http://shrinkwrappedscream.blogspot.com/. Carol is a brilliant writer with a book deal in the works.
She often just writes about current events around home, but her remembrances of her early youth are quit dark and scary. She opens up her life so vividly to us.

Judy ~ Thanks for the recommendations! I will check them all out. And thanks for adding me to your blogroll. You’re now on mine too!
Mushy ~ Nice to see you here again! Thanks for the recommendation. I will check out Carol’s blog tonight!

Tish, I posted another recommendation to you in response to your comment on my blog (for which I thank you, btw), but I thought that if I wanted you to actually see it, I’d better come here and recommend it.
My recommendation is to Gail Snyder’s blog, Down the Drain, and it can be found at this URL http://gailstales.blogspot.com/. She has a sense of humor that appeals to me. Perhaps it will to you too.
