They’re not even noticable, but to her… Until she points them out, nobody even sees them. Of course, then it takes her pointing them out again to find them after that, too.

A dog bit my cheek many moons ago (that is what I get for waving a pork chop in front of my face) and unfortunately the scar is still visible. But you know what, I have gotten used to it and now (it’s not that big), given the choice, I would probably keep it. People ask: What’s that little line on your cheek? I say: I was attacked by a dog. It makes me sound tough, I think.

And I agree, freckles are cute. I look forward to summer freckles making their appearance.

Don’t be too self-conscious, you are a beautiful woman. But for your own peace of mind, I do hope it works.

They’ll take 6 months to a year to start to truly fade out. Biscuit is right about the rubbing. Make sure you use enough pressure to move the tissue underneath the skin too, don’t just slide over the top. That keeps the scar from adhering down to the layers below and acting as a tie.

As for the gel, keep us posted. My patients are always looking for something great to try!

My plastic surgeon told me that it’s not the cream, it’s the rubbing. Pressure helps to flatten out the scar. I used steri strips over an incision for weeks afterwards, and the scar is invisible. And I scar badly. Get some and wear them over the scars whenever you’re at home.

And by the way, I don’t think they look bad!

You look fine!!! But I agree it seems to be taking awhile to fully heal from the scars. Hope the super duper gels provides the results you’re looking for!!

I think you’re looking pretty good, regardless of the scars, freckles or gray hairs…
