Blogathon 2007 is scheduled for July 28th, and I’m getting antsy.
For those of you unfamiliar with Blogathon, it is an annual event in which bloggers come together to raise money for their favorite charities by blogging for 24 straight hours.
As most of you know, I was diagnosed with glaucoma eight years ago. I’d like to raise both awareness and money for the cause, so I will be blogging for The Glaucoma Foundation. We have not yet started taking sponsors, but keep watching my blog for more information. My personal goal is to raise $500. I hope that you all will be kind enough to throw in a few bucks for the cause.
I also hope that some of you will decide to join me in the Blogathon. If you’re willing and able to stay awake and blog for 24 hours (or even to split a 24 hour period with other bloggers), please be sure to sign up.
Now I’d like to ask for a little more help from you guys. Blogathon participants must post at least once every half hour, so that means I’ll have at least 48 posts that day. Is there something you’d like to see me blog about? If so, drop a suggestion in the comment box.

Let’s see…maybe an experience at a UT Vols game? Your honeymoon (hopefully a good experience with the ex)? Your high school prom? College party?

Alternate every other post with a picture of what you look like as you’re blogging. You’ll look wonderful after 24 hours, I’m sure!

I am definately doing it this year. I didn’t find out about early enough last year so I didn’t get to do it. But this year will be different!! Let’s hope I do it right tho. I’m totally newbie at it. xD
