I just got my eyelash perm last night! Since several of you have shown interest in eyelash perming, I decided to show you the results of mine.
The perm turned out even more beautiful than the last time I had it done. What you’re seeing is entirely the perm. I haven’t touched my lashes with a curler.
If you live in Knoxville, I recommend going to Belleza Salon and Spa, which is where I got my lashes done. The cost is $40, but it is well worth it. The curl lasts 4-6 weeks. The entire perm process lasts about 45 minutes, and you can even sleep through it! Just don’t snore like I did.

Don’t the rollers hurt?

Oh wow! Your lashes look GREAT! You know I’m addicted to my curler. One of those things if I were stranded on an island what 3 things would I take. EYE LASH CURLER is in the Top 3 for sure!! I may have to try this. Do your eyes burn at all? What type chemicals are used?

Purdy eyes
The eyelashes look nice too

Barry ~ But an eyelash perm would look so nice on you!
Mushy ~ The rollers don’t really hurt. They put a glue-like substance on them to keep them attached to your lashes, and then you just lay there with your eyes closed. Not bad at all!
Flat Coke ~ Thank you! My eyes didn’t burn at all. They put a gluelike substance on the rod that they use to roll the lashes, and then they brush on a perm solution that pretty much smells like the hair perm solution. You just lay there with your eyes closed until everything is ready to come off. Not bad at all. You should give it a try!
Mike ~ *blush* Thank you! And thank you for the other thing too!

Wow! And once again, perfect eyeliner. I don’t get how you get it so perfect every time. Anyway, I doubt there’s a place in western NE that does it, but I’ll give it a try when I get back to the land of the living!

Your eyes are very beautiful..(even before you had this done)…..but that sounds like way more than I’m willing to do….thankgoodness I have naturally curled eyelashes and never have to curl them. I don’t think I’d let anyone stick a glue substance in my eyelashes…but hey, you did and they look fabulous!!

You look great (as always!)!!!
June 4th, 2007 at 9:06 am
That’s the coolest thing. I might just have to try it.

Beautiful! But I think they’d still be beautiful if you had left the $40 in your purse. Let’s see . . . if you’re faithful and have it done, oh, 8 times a year . . . that’s $320 you could potentially save for something fun, like an airline ticket or concert tickets, clothing, a couple of nice meals, or anything else you’ve wanted, for that matter.

i hope someday youll realize just how beautiful your eyes are and that all the shadow and liner really detracts from the abundant natural beauty that already resides there.

Simply beautiful.

There are many things you can do to enhance your eyelashes and keep them healthy and resilient, especially if you are chemically treating them. Keeping them strong will be very important.

I have been getting my lashes tinted and permed for about 2 yrs and I love my lashes. My lashes are long to start with and I was always curling them so the wouldn’t touch the back of my galsses. My sister turned me on to this in Ohio and have loved the results every time. No more mascara and eyelash curler for me. I work as a dental hygenist and everyone notices my pretty lashes and ask about them. Plus it saves me time in the morming getting ready.
