Sterling from Chip’s Quips tagged me for the What’s Your Web 2.0? meme.
Web 2.0 refers to web-based software that allows you to put information about yourself out on the web. It often contains social aspects such as friend lists and shout boxes. The purpose of this meme is to list the Web 2.0 applications you use and categorize them by how often you use them. Then you simply tag a few other bloggers to keep the meme going. Make sure to link back to the original post as well as the post of the blogger who tagged you.
Here is my Web 2.0.
Daily Use
WordPress – for updating this blog
Blogger – previously used to manage The Kat House and still used to manage Find Tish a Boyfriend
MyBlogLog and BlogCatalog – to find new and interesting blogs, check the ones I already know and love, and to communicate with other bloggers
Weekly Use
MySpace – to keep in touch with old friends, make new ones, and follow my favorite bands
Digg – to read interesting news stories and submit digg worthy articles
Netflix – to read movie reviews and recommendations, select movies for my own viewing, and see what Barry is watching
Monthly Use
Google Reader and Bloglines – to view multiple blog updates quickly and easily
I now tag Mike, Jonathan, Lane, Mark, and Kiltak. Just what is your Web 2.0, guys?

I think author of this meme doesn’t understand what Web 2.0 is. :-/

Jan ~ I do spend a lot of time working on my blog. hehe. And thanks! Glad you like the new look! I love this design, so I think I’ll stick with it. It’s my favorite so far!
Mark ~ I did a Google search on Web 2.0, and apparently there is a lot of confusion as to what exactly it is. But I’ll just go with the definition the author of the meme gave!

I think it’s because some asshat decided O’Reily Media coined the phrase in 2004. We were using the term regularly in 2000 (and I’ve heard since at least 1998) at the development company I was working at… *shrug*
First Al Gore invented the Internet, and now this. *grin*

Mark ~ *GASP* Are you trying to tell me that Al Gore DIDN’T invent the internet? What’s next? No Santa Claus??!

Yeah, and that Punxatawney Phil on Groundhog Day? Different one every few years.

Hey, thanks for catching that typo AND updating me on your new blog address. Oh, and can you send your email address to my hotmail address, please? In all of these notes we’ve exchanged through our blogs, I don’t have your email!
And by the way, was looking through some of your old blog posts and ran across your HNT posts. Absolutely lovely. They were stunning. Too bad you stopped them. And despite that negative comments about them being too revealing, I think they were all tastefully done. (And if I wasn’t married, I wouldn’t mind a taste. LOL)

Hi Tish
I will get to this one soon. Probably not today though. I have a nice big headache
May 17th, 2007 at 3:57 pm
Mark ~ I don’t like you anymore.
Mike ~ Hey there! So sorry to hear about your headache. Isn’t it usually the woman who complains about a headache?
I hope you feel better soon! And I look forward to your post.
