I spent the entire weekend packing, moving, and unpacking. Now every muscle in my body aches! All the furniture is at the new house, and most of the other stuff is there as well. I still have a few things to move and lots more to unpack, so I’ll be busy for the next few evenings. I came to an important realization during this move – that I am never doing this again! Hopefully, my knight in shining armor, if he is indeed a nonfictional character, will choose to move in with me!
Last night was the first night I spent in the house, and it was wonderful. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet, and I was awestruck when I stepped out into the back yard. The night air was warm, and there was a nice breeze. I looked up, and I had an absolutely breathtaking view of the stars. The only thing that would have made it better is a nice guy to share it with.
Speaking of nice guys, I had to take desperate measures to chat with You-Know-Who (YKW) this weekend. If you recall, my internet connection won’t be up and running in the new house until tomorrow. I went to Border’s on Friday night so I could send an email. YKW and I have always chatted via MSN Messenger, as he did not have Yahoo installed. I have access to Yahoo on my cell phone, so I asked him (in my most pleasant email voice) to “pretty please” download Yahoo Messenger. Being the awesome guy he is, he downloaded it right away. We chatted off and on over the weekend. It’s a shame that it took me an hour just to ask how his day was going. Just why do these cell phone keys have to be so small?!
For those of you who tried to message me on Yahoo, I apologize for not answering. I was having serious technical difficulties!
After the last few weeks, I am ready for a much needed break. I plan to get it this coming weekend. Some friends and I are going to Dollywood on Saturday, and I have plans with another friend later that night. I haven’t had a beer in a while, so look out world! I’m going to drink a few cold ones on Saturday night!
Have a great day!

Oh god, just the thought of that traffic from Sevierville to Pigeon Forge . . . And I’m still trying to understand the popularity of the “Knife Factory Outlet” (about the size of a Wal-Mart) on the drive from the interstate to Sevierville.

Congrats on the new house!
. How cool is it that the last Harry Potter book and the 5th movie will be out in July? I’ve seen the trailer for the movie and OMG I can’t wait:-). Oh I love the Smoky Mountain Knife works. It takes a while to go through it. I love it because of all the other goodies, not the knives:-).

We always drive into Tennessee once a year to buy fireworks. We go to the store right before you get to Smokey Mountain Knife Works.
