I have decided to participate in a meme that I found on Groanin’ Jock’s blog. The meme takes the form of an interview, with the last person on the chain selecting five questions. Here are Groanin’ Jock’s questions and my answers.
- If you could meet any living person, who would it be and why? Most of you would probably list some prominent, political figure here, but I’m going to keep it real. I’d meet Denis Leary. He’s intelligent, talented, funny as hell, sexy, and he says what’s on his mind with no regard for what anyone will think of it. I think he’d make an awesome friend!
- Where is your favorite place in the world? Seeing as though I’ve never been outside the United States, I can’t really answer this question. I’m determined to do some traveling once my life settles down a bit. I’d love to visit France. I think I’d love it there.
- If your CD player were to break with one album stuck inside it, and that was the only music you could hear from now until the day you die, what CD would you wish it to be? The Barenaked Ladies Disc One: All Their Greatest Hits
- If you could go back in time to change one thing that has happened in your life, what would you change? When I was in high school, my dream was to become a veterinarian. After graduation, I decided to take a break from school. That break lasted for several years. I did go back to college, but I gave up on the veterinarian dream and chose to pursue a business path since I had gotten involved in the Human Resources field. If I could do it over again, I’d go to college right after high school, and I’d pursue a veterinary career. Don’t get me wrong – I am fortunate to have been very successful in the Human Resources field, but with my love of animals, I think I’d make a great vet.
- Why has blogging become so popular? I think it’s because (a) blogging preserves memories that might otherwise be forgotten, (b) it allows us to keep in touch with friends and family without sending dozens of emails, and (c) it gives us a creative outlet.
If anyone would like to be interviewed, here’s how to keep the meme going:
Leave me a comment saying “Interview me.” I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions. You will update your weblog with the answers to the questions, and let me know that you answered. If you don’t have a blog, but would still like to play, I can send you the questions, and you can answer them in the comments. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
