Wow, it sure is difficult to get back into the swing of things as a single woman. As stated in my last post, I am trying to get back to my old self - Single Tishy. Single Tishy and Taken Tishy are two very different people.
Single Tishy tends to get very lonely, so she keeps herself busy with baseball games, plays, dinner with friends, and concerts. Those activities keep her mind off the thoughts of her failed relationships. They create a sense of belonging and fill a very big void in her life.
Taken Tishy is perfectly content in spending as much time as possible with the one she loves - watching movies, going boating, playing board games, cuddling. Taken Tishy loves quality time with her man and feels no void in her life. She wakes up smiling and goes to sleep smiling. She walks with her head in the clouds and realizes just how lucky she is to have found something so special.
Having been in the Taken Tishy state of mind for the past 10 months, it is difficult to revert back to my old ways. However, I feel that it is necessary. Being in a Taken Tishy state of mind while in a Single Tishy reality leads to serious heartache. And I need this heartache to go away. Maybe one of these days the Taken Tishy will return. In the meantime, make way for Single Tishy!

Yes, major shifts can be tough to get used to. My only advice is to go forward as the new and improved Single Tishy. You know the one who is happy with herself and her own company… until a deserving partner comes by… not to change her but to enhance her being.

I bet Single Tishy knows exactly who Single Tishy is. No outside influence. 100% Tish.

I wish Single WG lived close enough to Single Tishy to go out for drinks. I may be banned from another state if that happens.

At least you can distinguish between the 2. I have been “taken” Chelle for so long….I wouldn’t even know what a single Chelle is like. Sometimes I would really like to know.
