Both dogs went to the vet on Tuesday. Molly was there for some blood work, and Cruella was there to have her teeth cleaned and to have a small tumor removed from her shoulder. I knew that something was wrong when I got a call from the vet an hour later. In preparation for Cruella’s dental work, a few blood tests were run. One of her liver enzymes was sky high! The vet didn’t feel that it was safe to do give her anesthesia, so her dental work and tumor removal were put on hold. Abdominal x-rays were ordered. The x-rays showed some sort of large mass in Cruella’s abdomen. The vets were unable to identify it, so an abdominal ultrasound will be performed on Thursday.
When it rains, it pours!
As for Molly, the doctors will test her for Cushing’s Disease on March 9th. Please keep both dogs in your prayers.

Damn! Talk about the torrential downpour. I hope all comes out well for you and your pups.

I think we need to take your puppies to church on Sunday morning. Hope the ultrasound goes well.

We’ve had something similar happen to both of our dogs lately: both sky high liver enzymes. It seems like there’s got to be some connection with our two, and if I ever figure it out I’ll pass it along.

There’s a reason that I stick with the plants…
