Even though it got off to a rough start, this weekend turned out to be a fabulous one!
I took Molly and Cruella to have their portraits made on Saturday morning. They were very bad girls! They ran around when they should have been sitting and having their pictures made! The photographer says he got some good photos, but I’ll believe it when I see them – which will be in two weeks. I’ll post the pics when I get them, but in the meantime, these pictures will have to do.
After getting the dogs back home, I got on the road to SC. I managed to get there about half an hour before Brico got home from work. Being the sweet boyfriend that he is, he gave me two very thoughtful gifts that night. The first was a book titled Heeling Your Inner Dog: A Self Whelp Book, and the second was the brand new Barenaked Ladies CD, Barenaked Ladies are Men.
On Saturday evening, we went out to dinner and then started watching Dog Whisperer. Brico slept through most of the first episode, woke up just as it was going off, and then told me that he was too tired to watch another episode! Excuse me? Another episode??!
Most of the day Sunday was spent watching Dog Whisperer and Lost. Brico had never seen an episode of Lost, so I took the first season with me. He was hooked from the first episode, and we ended up watching four of them back to back! I left the DVDs with him, so he’ll be able to watch the rest at his leisure.
Tuesday will make nine months that Brico and I have been together. He’s an awesome boyfriend! And speaking of Brico, he just started a weekly photo challenge called Bondtography. If you like to take photographs, check out the Bondtography blog. It sounds like a lot of fun!
Have a great night!

two points of contention ‘dear’:
1- i watched the entire episode of dog whisperer. never was asleep for a moment.
2- ‘he’ll be able to watch the rest at his leisure.’ excuse me? what leisure is that??? can i get a shout out from any single parent with a full time job out there please? am i missing something? there is NO SUCH THING as leisure! but yes, i did like the show.
look forward to seeing those pics.
