My newest celebrity crush is dog behavior expert Cesar Millan. You may recognize Cesar from his show Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic Channel. I have recently become addicted to the show. Cesar’s ability to think like a dog and teach humans to eliminate undesirable behavior in their dogs is absolutely amazing. Cesar says it best. “I rehabilitate dogs. I train people.” If you’ve never watched the show, I encourage you to. You will learn so much about your dogs and why they do the things they do.

Cesar always stresses the importance of the dog owner becoming the “Pack Leader”. As a dog owner, you should exhibit confidence and dominance. And if you do it Cesar’s way, you’ll be the envy of every dog owner in your neighborhood. Your dogs will be happy and balanced, and those undesirable behaviors will be a thing of the past!

I just ordered the first season of Dog Whisperer as well as two other Cesar Millan DVDs – Becoming a Pack Leader and People Training for Dogs. I also ordered Cesar’s book, Cesar’s Way: The Natural Everyday Guide to Understanding and Correcting Common Dog Problems. I can’t wait to get this stuff! Next on my wish list – a Pack Leader shirt!
