In my last post, I promised a brief recap and photos from Thanksgiving weekend with Brico. I can’t believe it has taken me so long to get this posted!
Here’s proof that Brico can be very domestic. See that smile on his face? Well, it didn’t last very long. Shortly after this photo was taken, Brico set the place on fire. *Note to self - get this boy a fire extinguisher for Christmas*
Speaking of Christmas, Brico takes it very seriously. Odd for a Buddhist, huh? He spent practically the entire Thanksgiving weekend putting up Christmas decorations - a Christmas tree, stockings, red and green bath towels, scented candles, seasonal oven mitts, nutcrackers, and just about anything else you could possibly imagine. We did a bit of shopping on Black Friday, and Brico took this opportunity to break out the Santa Claus hat. You should have seen all the strange looks we got while driving around!
I spent this weekend with Brico as well. We had a great time - except for a very embarrassing mishap on Friday night. The details of that particular incident will remain a mystery to all but yours truly, Brico, and the lovely Flat Coke and Flies, who has become a wonderful friend to me over the last few weeks.
Here’s a photo of the message that was waiting for me on the refrigerator at Brico’s place on Friday night.
While Brico was working on Saturday, I met up with a real estate agent I had been talking to since I made the decision to relocate. We looked at 7 or 8 houses, and I absolutely fell in love with one of them. I am keeping it as an option, but the realtor is looking for other options as well. Fortunately, I am not hurried to move. It’s nice to have time on my side.
Aspen’s birthday is coming up on December 8th. Her party was on Sunday, and believe it or not, 20 screaming kids didn’t drive me completely mad. I must be getting more mellow in my old age. Or maybe it was just the valium.
On a completely random note, Flat Coke misses my Self Portraits, so I have decided to start participating in the Challenge once again! Tomorrow is Tuesday, so check in for a picture! The December theme is Red.
I hope you all have a great evening. It sure it nice to be back!

GABBY,
it all comes off in a week… i think. tishy loves her some mountian man!
FLAT COKE,
FYI the ‘vault’ in which tish stores her secrets… the combo is posted right on the front. its easier to get in there than it is her… ooops, maybe i shouldnt go there.
TISHY,
if people were looking at me strange it was only because they were trying to figure out how a grungy guy like me was walking around with a beauty like you! it had nothing to do with the hat.

Tish/Brico - I grew my beard for a few weeks, but the itching drove me nuts…it looked good for a while, then when it started to go Grizzly Adams I kind of decided it wasn’t for me - I should post a pic I have of me with it on my blog…anyway, the cool thing was how soft and downy my stubble was for a while after I shaved it off!!! Anyway, what was my point? Oh yeah, just don’t get all “Deliverance” (”Squeal little piggy!”) on us…that was just freak me right out!
