I just stumbled across a very interesting report - a 33 page report on blogging! This report is based on a telephone survey of a nationally-representative sample of bloggers. It discusses the demographics of blogging, reasons for blogging, even time spent blogging! I read the entire report without a moment’s boredom!
Maybe it’s just me, but one part in particular struck me as amusing.
“Most bloggers say they post when something inspires them. Fully 70% of bloggers only post when inspiration strikes, while 22% of bloggers usually update on a regular schedule. A lucky 4% of bloggers say that both options are true: Inspiration strikes on schedule. Another 4% say that neither mode describes their posting habits, or they were not sure.”
How can I get inspiration to strike on schedule? That would be awesome!

I think if you & Brico saw each other on a daily basis you’d have your answer. lol A scheduled inspiration…DAILY!
I could write about Mr. Wonderful doing something silly every day but I keep most of it for myself :o)

I’ve never really counted on inspiration though I’ve been needing some lately.
Wanted to come by and wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.

I write as and when I feel like it - sometimes I feel a bit of an obligation to update even if I have nothing to say, but I doubt there are many (or any!) people out there who are sad enough to be waiting with bated breath for my latest post, so why I would feel that way I really don’t know.
Delusions of grandeur maybe…
