Sick As a Dog

Mike informed me that I’ve been unusually quiet lately. Ms. Chattie does have an explanation. I’ve been sick. Extremely sick. Coughing, aching, sneezing sick. I missed the KnoxBloggers meeting on Wednesday, and I missed my swim lesson on Thursday.

It may seem strange, but you can gauge my illnesses by the number of hot baths I take in a given day. Normally, I take a shower in the morning and a bath at night. When I’m sick, I take extra baths - as hot as I can stand them. They tend to make me feel a little better. Yep, the number of baths I take is directly proportional to the severity of my illnesses. I took three baths tonight. I feel like crap.

I think I should invest in a hot tub.

Hope you’re feeling better soon! I find that a glass of Cabernet helps my baths make me feel a lot better.

Try shower soothers, they look like giant alka seltzers but work great in a hot shower.

Hot baths definitely help but a hot tub would be the ultimate.

BTW, I feel the need to point out that my bro is the gayest straight man ever. If I hadn’t been at the wedding I wouldn’t believe he married a girl. Just kidding (but not really). He doesn’t have a blog, just whores around ours.
