The weekend was a fantastic one.
Brico and I spent Friday night just lying in bed, relaxing, and watching Mallrats. I ended up falling asleep before the movie ended. It was the best night’s sleep I’ve had in months!
On Saturday, Brico had to work, but I got to have a little fun - shopping! I went to an outlet mall in Charlotte and found all sorts of clothes - for very cheap prices! I’m going to have to start doing all my shopping in the Carolinas! Here’s a pic of me modeling a new shirt that I bought. The jeans are new too, but you can’t really see much of them. They have a really cool design (the same color as my shirt) on the back pockets.
On Saturday evening, we went to see Little Miss Sunshine, which was a very good movie! At one point, when Olive was asking her grandfather if she was pretty, tears were rolling down my face. Brico didn’t hesitate to point it out. “Are you crying? You’ve got to be kidding me! This is a comedy!” Yep, it’s a comedy I suppose, but there are several scenes that will just break your heart! After the movie, we met up with Mike (a.k.a. Miguel) and Emily at a restaurant called The Philosopher’s Stone. The atmosphere was nice, and the food was great.
When we got home, we lounged in bed and watched Saturday Night Live. Perhaps I should say that Brico watched SNL. I actually fell asleep. It’s funny that I can be so nocturnal when Brico’s not around, but when he is, I go right to sleep at an early hour! We did manage to take a couple of photos before falling asleep.
That does it. Brico is NOT drinking the next time we go out!
Saturday night was another peaceful night - except for when Brico woke me up at 2 AM. Brico, I’m not a machine!
On Saturday morning, we slept in, then went to pick up Aspen. We went out for breakfast, then went home and watched Brother Bear 2. Take it from me - that movie is another tearjerker!
The rest of Saturday was spent lounging around for the most part. Brico made dinner, and a fabulous dinner it was! I got an incredible photo of him as he was setting the table. Unfortunately, Blogger is acting up and won’t let me post another photo. Arrghh! I’ll get the photo up as soon as I’m able, so keep checking back!
The drive back to Knoxville flew by. I listened to the new Barenaked Ladies CD that Brico got for me - awesome stuff!
I’ll be seeing Brico again this coming weekend, and I can’t wait! Brico, thank you for everything, babe. I love you!

Brico ~ Hmm…what do you want? *LOL* Just kidding! Love you!
Clara ~ Thank you! So do you!
Doc ~ Awww, thanks! I think Brico is ignoring your comments about the digits. When I mentioned it to him last night, he pretended not to know what I was talking about!
JC ~ Blogger has been really crapping out lately! Thanks for the kind words. I hope your weekend was awesome!

I have to say I liked LMS until they got to the beauty pagaent. That just felt so disturbing that for the humor that was supposed to be there for the routine and the decision to never compete again, I was just weirded out.
Otherwise, it was a great movie.
