I came by way of Barry’s recommendation. I’m a big 24 fan, so I was glad to see Kiefer won. But, I’ve heard good things about Rescue Me, so I think I’ll try to catch up via DVD.

I had the same question about the high school grad. Plus, my college tuition didn't add up to anywhere near $160,000.

Sorry to hear about the play soulmate, but c’est la vie. You’ll get ‘em next time. I went to school for seven years (gimme a break. I was an adult with a family and a full time job at the time) and it only cost me 40K. I am now in a pretty decent job with Uncle Sam so I think the report is … flawed shall we say? Anyway. Hope you get to see the play soon. Take care.

Okay, since they released Karr, I have two suggestions to make him compensate for the time, effort, and money wasted in this whole fiasco…
1) He has to be let loose in the prison yard for 24 hours during playtime for the real inmates.
2) He should then have to pay the $$ that it cost US,the taxpayers, to fly his nasty little ass over here in a first class seat from Thailand.

Re. John Mark Karr – the DNA results may not be the end all and be all of this case due to possible contamination of the DNA samples by the Boulder Police Dept. – the story continues.

Re. Is college worth it? NO! But that is my own personal experience talking. What I paid for an education that I didn’t use would have bought me a house. Although then I would be tied to this community and reluctant to sell and move should I actually get that HR position I applied for – wish me luck!

Why does one assume a college student pays $160,000 in tuition? A decent percentage get full scholarships, and a better percentage get some kind of financial assistance that doesn’t require paying back (partial scholarships, grants, etc). I don’t think I spent $160,000 in my five years at UT (even if it was a number of years ago) and I had student loans most of the way.

Oh, ok, it said “elite”. Well….so? You can get a good job after graduating from a non-”elite” college as well.

Oh, and hail the Keifer. Jack Bauer will save us all. Don’t diss the Jack.
