Weekend #6 With Brico

Brico and I had another wonderful weekend together. On Saturday evening, we ordered pizza (hold the flies, please!) and watched Jersey Girl.

On Sunday morning, the two of us went out on the SeaWeeder. We had a great time, and Brico even convinced me to go tubing! That’s quite an accomplishment considering that I can’t swim. I had a blast! Well, at least I did until Brico decided to do a 360 at 100 miles per hour. My body flew off the tube, and if it hadn’t been for my death grip, I’d have surely shot across to the other side of the lake. And you know what? I distinctly remember seeing a grin on Brico’s face as I struggled to get back on the tube! At least I was wearing a life jacket, and it’s a good thing! As I tried to climb into the boat after my tubing adventure, I fell into the lake. I went completely underwater and started to panic. My head then popped back up above the water - for exactly long enough to scream, “Help me!” I dunked back under, popped back up, and screamed for help once more. With Brico’s help (which came with hesitation I might add), I finally managed to climb up the ladder and onto the boat. Whew! I’ve never been so happy to be back on dry “land”.

I had not anticipated on getting in the water, so I wore a t-shirt and shorts during our little outing. I was completely soaked after falling in the water, so I had to take off my shirt to dry out. I would have taken off my shorts, but I wasn’t wearing underwear. Oops! I now have a nasty sunburn on the entire top half of my body - except for the area that was covered by my bra. I’ll spare you the photos of that. You can thank me later.

Here are a few photos taken during our boat ride.

Look at this cute little remote controlled sailboat that we saw out on the water.

Here’s the proof that I went tubing. That’s me in the background!

Brico loves to relax on the tube.

He also loves to try stunts like this.

Does he really think he can pull this off?

To be continued…

So sorry to keep you guys in suspense. Blogger refuses to let me post more photos. Keep checking back to see Brico’s big splash - er, grand finale.

Brico, thanks for another awesome weekend. Love you!
