Happy Happening of the Day - 8/12/06

I had a great workout at the gym today. I spent 30 minutes on the treadmill and then proceeded to the weight room. Weight training is my favorite physical activity. My friends tell me that I’m using too much weight, but I don’t think that’s the case. I’ve been researching women’s weight training on the ‘net, and very few women have the genetic makeup to bulk up in the same fashion that men can. So stop worrying, guys! I have worked my way up to between 50 and 90 pounds on most of the machines. Yippee! As an added bonus, when I stepped on the scales at the gym, I had lost 2.2 pounds!

    You are right! Women are physically incapable of bulking up the way men do.
    Did you find a gym partner? I need to find one myself.
    I hardest part is just getting there. Knowing you… you’ll probably know everyone in the gym real soon.

    Come on… noone made the obvious “favorite physical activity” joke? I hope that Brico at least thought it. Weight lifting should be your second favorite activity… Knockin’ boots should be the first!

    Good job on the workout.

    I used to be a workout junkie, then when I lost my job last fall I lost my gym membership, then 5 months later I hurt my knee and couldn’t run anymore. So now I haven’t worked out in 5 months. I miss it. I need to get my knee fixed so I can run again.
