Sorry for the much overdue post, folks. Chattie just hasn’t been very chatty lately - at least not when it comes to my blog. I’m sure Brico wishes that were the case with the telephone! Speaking of Brico, things are still going well, but I will not be able to see him for another three weeks! I guess it’s a good thing that he’s practicing for the Iron Man Triathalon. He’ll need every ounce of endurance he can muster.

My computer recently bit the dust. If you recall, I’d been having problems with it for a while, and my guess is that it was all related to the CD drive. The other night, my computer failed to boot up. It just sat there with the HP logo screen showing, and it wouldn’t move past it. Unlike in the past, I was unable to get into the BIOS settings this time. I decided to go to Best Buy and pick up a replacement drive. I pulled out the old drive and installed the new one. Now the computer won’t turn on at all. I guess my technical skills are more than a little rusty. Fortunately, I do have another computer. It took me forever to get my DSL connection working on it though.

I just started a huge project - loading the remainder of my CDs onto my iPod. This sure is going to take a while! I’ve realized that I must have the most diverse taste in music ever. Just last night I loaded these artists: Jimmy Buffett, Sam Cooke, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Maroon 5, The Barenaked Ladies, Robinella & the CC Stringband, and Meatloaf!

You may have noticed that I missed a Self Portrait Challenge this week. Not to fret though. I have a very special treat for next Tuesday! It will be my Self Portrait as a Superhero!
