Pop Art Portrait 2 of 5

This week marks the second week of the June “Pop Art” theme for Self Portrait Challenge.

Pop Art was a visual artistic movement that emerged in the United States and England in the late 1950s. It was characterized by themes and techniques drawn from mass culture such as advertising and comic books. Pop Art is widely interpreted as a reaction to the then-dominant ideas of abstract expressionism or an expansion upon them. Andy Warhol is perhaps the most widely known Pop Artist.

Without further ado, here’s my second “Pop Art” submission!

Are you ready to take the Self Portrait Challenge?
