After a long absence, I am finally blogging from the great state of Tennessee!

I got home around 6:30 PM. The 6 hour drive from Columbus to Knoxville consisted of nothing but rain - lots and lots of rain! I guess Terry and I brought it home with us, because when we talked to our fellow Knoxvillians this morning, it was “beautiful” in Tennessee. At one point today, I thought I was going to have to call Brico and ask to borrow his boat - or at the very least, a life preserver.
My home computer bit the dust before I left for Michigan. It wouldn’t even boot up. When I turned it on, the HP logo screen would show, and it wouldn’t go past that point. If you recall, I’ve been having problems with the CD drive for some time now. I expected that it was to blame for this much more serious issue. When I got home this evening, I took the case off the computer and unplugged the CD drive. I then got into my BIOS setup and changed the settings so that the computer wouldn’t try to boot the CD drive. Turned off my computer. Turned it back on again. Voila! I am now blogging from my home computer! So now that I’ve isolated the problem, it’s time to correct it. I’ll make a trip to Best Buy in the very near future to purchase a new CD drive. I’ll post photos of my attempt to install it. If it doesn’t work, one of you techies may need to come to my rescue!

Glad you made it back okay. I was getting a little worried because no one had called to ask for directions. And I had my maps all spread out and ready, too . . .

Kev ~ After I told Terry that I was navigationally challenged, he didn’t even bring up the idea of me driving! hehehe. Thanks for having the maps handy though! And thanks for the atlas! It will now be a permanent fixture in my car! Oh, and speaking of that, thanks for the Mariners moose too! It’s so cute!!
Mike ~ I should have known that would turn you on!
