This is the me that few people have seen. The me with worn off makeup and windblown hair. The me who goes to great lengths to avoid being seen in public looking less than what she deems to be acceptable. This is the me that constantly checks her appearance in the mirror, worried that others may see her as ugly or fat, or even worse - both! This is the me that wonders if she will spend the rest of her days and nights alone. The me who secretly wishes for a storybook romance. The me who tries so hard to hide her tears from the world. The me who has just revealed her most private insecurities to the blogosphere. This is the me that until now, you’ve probably never seen. This is me.

Before I read the post… I had been thinking that this is one of the most stunning pictures of you (not that they all aren’t stunning, because you really are beautiful).
Remember that flaws can be hidden with make-up, but beauty is beautiful absolutely naked.

this ‘you’ is even more attractive than the ‘you’ hidden in eye shadow, base and blush. this ‘you’ i would prefer to see 365 days of the year.

This you looks like she’s having a great time on a huge body of water somewhere. And you know what? She’s not ugly in the least. I’ve never thought any of your “selves” were ugly. This one is the most real, though. Natural. And she’s beautiful.

I agree with Os. Anybody in their right mind can see that you are beautiful. I like seeing a woman first thing in the morning before she gets out of bed. That is the real her, before she puts on makeup and hides what she thinks are flaws.

i LOVE YOU! you are the cutest. yay for storybook romance, tho my own fascination with them leads me to glare and huff at jeremy whenever i’m reading romance novels. ha!
