What a day! I got up at the crack of dawn to prepare for Jake’s wedding. After getting dressed in my brand new outfit, I had an unfortunate accident and ended up ripping the blouse. I redressed (in something I really didn’t want to wear) and got on the road.
While stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic in Gatlinburg, I had to pull out my camera when I saw this, which I dedicate to Brico.
I spent a little time with Jake and Rebekah at their cabin before the wedding. Look at the happy brother and sister!

We left the cabin and headed off to the wedding. I was the official photographer. Check out a few of my favorite photos.

Once the vows had been said, we drove back to Knoxville for the reception. Ya just gotta love these photos!

By the time the reception was over, my energy was drained, but I had to go back home and prepare for the play that I was seeing with Jeff. Here’s a photo of me post-wedding, pre-play.

The play, Big River, was awesome! It is based on Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn, and it was easily the best musical I’ve ever seen. It will be playing at Clarence Brown through April 30th. If you get the chance to see it, please do!

he mashed cake all over her face??? i guess if theres ever a time you can do that and get away with it it would be right after pledging your undying love to her. hope he doesnt try that again in a few weeks.

Beautiful photos, Tish! Congratulations to the newlyweds.
Glad you enjoyed “Big River”. I smile wide when I think that the man who wrote the song “King of the Road” wrote the music to this show.
