I stumbled across Way Back Wednesday by way of Hope’s blog. It sounded like a fun idea, so I decided to give it a try. Brico has promised to join me, so if my photos are posted and his aren’t, he’s a dead man! I don’t want to be the only one posting embarrassing photos!
Here is the challenge for this week’s Way Back Wednesday:
Pull out the parachute pants, whip out the White Rain, and show us how unkind the 80s were to you!
Unfortunately, the majority of my 1980s photos are in the possession of my mother, so I had very few photos to choose from. None of them really show the fashion of the times, but they’re embarrassing nevertheless. Here’s Tish in the 1980s!
1986 - Just look at that slight 70 pound frame, flat chest, skinny legs, and the unbelievably horrible hair! And well, I’m sitting in the General Lee! I don’t think it can get much more embarrassing!
1989 - Okay, I’ve never worked a farm. You guys know that I’m too much of a girly girl to engage in manual labor of the outdoor variety. I must have thought it was really cool to pose for this photo though. Just look at that smile! This photo is dedicated to Brico, for obvious reasons.
1989 - Ick. Purple corduroy pants with a Macho Man Randy Savage t-shirt. And just who or what did I think I was modeling for? I can definitely see why that modeling contract never came through!

hiya, dead man here…
okay heres why you dont see a way back pic at The Nut today:
as you know my home computer is down so i would have had to connect my scanner to my laptop which menas i would have had to find the driver which means i would have had to go out to the garage which means i would hvae had to get cold and wet. PLUS i couldnt find the pic i wanted to use. its the only pic of me from the 80’s where i looked goofy rather than handsome and striking. and i knew if i put up one of my modelesque pics while you put up your daisy duke wannabe pic that you would be mad beyond all gitout.
so really, i didnt post today out of thoughtfullness to YOU hon!
