My pick for blog post of the day is not just one post, but a series of posts. I’m sure that many of you have read Mark Leslie’s Blog, but have you read his story I, Death which is unfolding in a blog of its own?
I decided to check the story out today, and I really enjoyed it - so much, in fact, that I read the entire thing at one sitting. And now that I’m all caught up, I’ll just check it each day for updates.
Mark has done something really interesting here. The main character of the story is Peter O’Mallick, and Peter’s guidance counselor has suggested that he keep a journal in order to better deal with the feelings that he is having after being dumped by his girlfriend. Peter decides to start a blog, and what you’re reading is not a typical story. It’s his blog. His feelings in his own words. His first post was January 18, 2006, and his most recent was Thursday, March 23, 2006. Everything is happening in the here and now.
You’ll see some comments from other readers, addressed to Peter, and Peter has actually mentioned some of them in his blog. I thought that was really cool. Keep in mind when posting comments that comments to the author will not be allowed. This is Peter’s blog, so all comments should be addressed to him.
Do I have your curiosity piqued yet? I hope so. Check out I, Death, and once you’re all caught up on the posts, keep going back to get the latest. You won’t be sorry.

Wow, Tish - I made Blog Post of the Day two days in a row? I’m honoured (see, you can tell I’m from Canada, because I threw in an extra letter in honored)
Thanks for the kind words and positive review of “I, Death” - I’m so very glad to hear that you’re enjoying it.

Hey,
It’s been a while since I posted a comment here. Thanks for your comments on my Legoland trip. There’s more coming.
I’ll have to check out this guy’s story. I’m always into learning about writers and what they’re doing. That’s always a good thing when you’re an aspiring writer.
