Laugh if you will, but I am a huge fan of American Idol. The show has found some real talent - Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, Josh Gracin, Fantasia, Bo Bice. And I’m sure I’m not the only one who has noticed the serious eye candy they happen to bring to the show each season. Last season it was Constantine Maroulis and Bo Bice. This season my eye is on Ace Young. He did an amazing performance of George Michael’s “Father Figure” tonight. And can anyone really resist this face?
My second favorite this season would have to be David Radford, on the basis of sheer talent. This kid is only 17 years old, but he stunned me with a Frank Sinatra tune during the auditions. And tonight’s performance of “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” blew me away.
This season proves to be a very exciting one! Tune in tomorrow night for results from tonight’s show. Now, gotta go text my votes in!

Oh yeah (ready to ruin my rep) Tommy is a big Idol fan too. I like Taylor (the grey headed dude) and Kelly (?) Pickler so far. Can’t wait until tomorrow. Ace was OK I guess, if you like the Joe Millionaire type. LOL.

My gripe with shows like Pop Idol (UK title) is we have proved there is plenty of SINGING talent around, but what about WRITING talent.
The singer doth not maketh the song!

girl i totally agree. love daniel’s harry connick thing he’s got going on. and ace is totally lickable. i only wish i could vote!!! i’m totally hooked.

Right now, I’m with Mandisa and Taylor Hicks. I was on the Paris train, but for the past 2 shows, she wasn’t that good at all. As for Ace… let’s just say I prefer the rocker dude Chris’ singing by a landslide.
And really… I can’t believe I’m hooked as well!
