Legend has it that Buddy’s Bar-B-Q has a Hawg Back Potato. I’ve even seen it listed on the menu. In fact, I’ve tried to order one on several occasions, each time with the same response. “Hold on just a second. I’m sorry, we don’t have any Hawg Back Potatoes.” Just what the hell is going on here? If there are Hawg Back Potatoes listed on the menu, shouldn’t they actually exist? Have any of you actually seen one? I think I’d have better luck finding the Loch Ness Monster or Big Foot!

if youve never seen one nor heard anything about them as far as texture, taste, etc… why are you trying to order one? maybe theyre terrible!

Uhhhh, yeah, what is a Hawgback potato? I don’t think I’d put one in my mouth.

Ah, the elusive Hawgback potato. They do exist, and are quite tasty. Their scarcity is no doubt due to the enormous size of the tater.
