Jeff and I met on MySpace last year. We first met in person back in October when we attended an Angel and the Love Mongers show together. We’ve been friends since!
As most of you know, I’m a big fan of local music, and music in general for that matter. Jeff is my partner in crime when it comes to local shows. He’s always willing to see a good live band, and Angel and the Love Mongers is one of our favorites. When we go to the shows, we always sing along with the band. And Eric, the band’s drummer, always hangs out with us before he goes on stage.
Being the bad influence that I am, a couple of months ago I convinced Jeff to start participating in Half-Nekkid Thursday. The majority of his posts were on MySpace, but he eventually set up a Blogger page. He hasn’t been participating lately, so I’m going to have to get on his case about that.
One of my favorite memories of Jeff is when we were walking around Market Square in downtown Knoxville after a show one night. We took all sorts of silly photos of us posing with a mechanical dog statue in the Square. The photo above is one of many photos we took that night. And here’s a photo of the two of us together - also taken that same night.
Jeff is an awesome friend, and I am happy to know him!
