The Kat House

I went to Paul’s Oasis again last night to see my friend Jonathan sing. I had a blast – such a blast that I didn’t get home and get in bed until 5 AM! By that point, I should have just stayed up, but instead, I decided to take a short nap. Here are a few highlights from the evening.

Jonathan always puts his heart and soul into his music. Can’t you tell? He even sang a Sam Cooke song just for me!

Todd is a permanent fixture at the Oasis. He never misses a show! He also never misses the opportunity for $7 all you can drink Island Brew!

Looks like Chris and Ryan found something pretty damn amusing. I’m not sure I want to know what it was.

Meet Jaime – the new boyfriend. He and Jonathan went to high school together. I actually met Jaime at Jonathan’s last show.

Speaking of Jonathan, he found time to hang out with us between sets.

It was an unbelievable evening. Jonathan’s performance was amazing, and it was nice getting to hang out once again with my friends. Only three more weeks of Oasis shows, then Jonathan hits the road to Florida where he will be attending a recording arts school. There’s no doubt that the last show will bring tears to my eyes. There is also no doubt that the night will be preserved forever on my blog.
