I want to thank everyone for all the support I received after my last post. Right after posting it, I called Brico, upset and crying. Sorry, babe! But thanks so much for being there! Osbasso read the post a bit later, and he called to check on me. Thanks, Os! Sorry for crying on you too! Everyone else who left comments, instant messages, and emails, thank you so much for your support and friendship. I have met so many wonderful people since I started blogging here in August. You guys (and gals) are the best! I did leave some personal messages for everyone who commented on the post. Be sure to check the comments!
As for the anonymous commenter, thank you for your kind words. I do hope that you’ll drop me an email since you failed to leave any contact information behind.
I’m feeling better than I did yesterday, but it still disturbs me to think that people can be so evil. I was hoping that by some chance, maybe I had misinterpreted the offending remark left yesterday on MySpace. I sent a comment back, saying only “that wasn’t a very nice thing to say to me.” The offender then replied with, “Oh, did I say that out loud? Awwww, just roll with it, baby!” I guess that is what hurt more than anything. How could someone be so cruel?
Moving on ~ recently, while bored and channel surfing, I stumbled across Smallville. I always found the previews interesting, but I didn’t want or need to get addicted to another show. The only shows I follow almost religiously are The Shield, Rescue Me, Lost, and American Idol. What did I do? I watched Smallville, and I’ve watched it every night since. And now I’m addicted! I went to Best Buy today to get Season 1 on DVD. Their retail price is $54.99, but coincidently, the first 4 seasons were on sale today – $24.99 each! I picked up Season 1, but where the other 3 seasons had been, there was only empty shelf space! Arrghh. I asked a Best Buy employee for help, and she gave me a raincheck for the other three seasons. That rocks! Best Buy will send me an email when the other 3 seasons come in, and they will hold them at the service desk for me. And the best part is that I get them each for $24.99. I guess it’s pretty sad to say, but that was the highlight of my day!
Oh, and I picked up two movies today at Walmart. They have a huge bin of movies for $5.50 each, so whenever I stop in, I always browse through it. I found Primal Fear and The Legend of Bagger Vance there today – both great movies!
Speaking of movies, I have a membership to Netflix. If any of you are Netflix members and would like to share movie ratings and suggestions, please add me to your friend list there. My email is chattiekat@gmail.com.
That’s it for now! I’ll leave you with this photo of my newest celebrity crush, Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor on Smallville! Interestingly enough, I just discovered that he was born only 12 days after me – same year! Awesome! Have a great night, all!

Again, sweetie, you have many more fans than detracters, which may be one reason the assmunch had to hate on you. Being popular can bring out the cretins who live to drag others down. Some people aren’t happy if anybody else is happy. Don’t let them win. Keep celebrating yourself, you deserve it!

Tish, glad you are feeling some better today. I work in a field that puts me in contact with some very cruel and evil people (as well as some wonderful people who are beating the odds). There are plenty of people out there who will say the most cruel things just to be entertained by the reactions they get from people. The only real revenge is not to give them a response. Because such cruelty only reflects on the character of the one doing it, not on the victim of it.
I’ve never seen Lost and thought about doing the DVD thing to get caught up. Would it be worth it?

Glad to see you’re feeling a little better. I checked out the guy’s MySpace profile–what a piece of work this guy is. And you’re not the only one that he’s done this to, apparently. Put him out of your mind. He obviously has no clue about who/what you are!

I’m glad you are feeling stronger xx

Tish, I’m so glad you’re feeling better!
Some people resent others who are fearless, proud, & sexy because they themselves are none of those things. So they lash out at these people who make them see themselves as they are. It’s sad but true. Stay strong Babe!

Wow… a guy goes on vacation and learns how mean people can be. Please take things with a grain of salt from the many idiots who inhabit the Internet. There are so many more who are polite, courteous, and care about how they impact those they meet.

Hey! I like Battlestar Galactica! Trust me when I say this, the new version is nothing like the old, except that the storyline is somewhat the same and the guy who played Apollo in the original series is back playing some kind of psycho dude in the new version. They changed the gender of Starbuck and Boomer, and there’s all kinds of family animosity between Lee Adama (Apollo) and Commander Adoma (his father).
It’s really pretty good. You should check it out.
Regarding the incident behind recent posts, I am glad to hear you are feeling better. It’s really too bad that there has to be bad eggs out there. But let it be known that you have far more fans out there than detractors.

Schadeboy ~ Thanks for the support! It means a lot to me. As for Battlestar Galatica, I will suspend judgment until I’ve actually seen a few episodes. Don’t make me regret it!

Ack…wish I’d read this before you hit BestBuy. Wal-Mart had seasons 1 and 2 for $19.99 each recently. And Amazon was selling them for that…
Welcome to Smallville..it’s great this year. Season four is not so good, I will warn you.
