A Rainy Christmas

It would have been nice to have some snow for Christmas, but all we got was rain. All in all, it was a good day though. I picked up Jake and went over to the parents’ house for a while. I ate a pretty good meal - no doubt the last one I’ll have for the next year or so, thanks to this wonderful new diet that I’m on. Speaking of that, however, I’m up to 10 lbs lost! Still a bit to go, but expect to see some nearly nude photos once I’ve reached my goal.

As most of you know, I’m addicted to music. It’s a sure way to my heart. I lucked out as far as music goes. Check this out.

The Sam Cooke biography was a gift to myself. I’m a huge fan of his music. In fact, Sam accompanied me on my way to Nashville last weekend. I listened to his greatest hits over and over again on both the way there and the way home. And is it just me who thinks of Jeopardy every time I say “Sam Cooke book”?

Tish: I’ll take “Before and After” for $1000, Alex.

Alex: His first single under his own name, “You Send Me”, went to #1 on the charts and sold two million copies. You might find the recipe for his success here.

Tish: What is Sam Cooke Book?

Okay, okay. I doubt that anyone else finds that quite as amusing as I do.

Jake got me the Joe Nichols and Big & Rich CDs. My theme song, Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off, is on Nichols’ CD. Only it doesn’t take any tequila to make my clothes fall off. Doesn’t even take any alcohol. Come to think of it, just why do I call this my theme song?

The Bo Bice CD is from my parents. Bo Bice is one of the hottest guys to ever walk the face of this earth, in my opinion at least! The fact that he has a voice that can make me melt is just an added bonus. *sigh*

I got lots of other cool gifts as well, but music gifts always make it to the blog!

I had a nice little holiday surprise sent to my cell phone today. I had exchanged several text messages with the Chunkster, and I was suddenly alerted that I had a picture share. I was almost afraid to open it, seeing as how he had once flipped me a bird in that same fashion. I was pleasantly surprised. It was a Merry Christmas message and a sexy photo to go along with it! Check this out.

Cruella and Molly had a pretty good Christmas as well. They got toys and treats. Here they are posing with one of the balls that my parents gave them.

I wish you all a very merry Christmas!

Merry Wet Christmas. Let me know how the CDs sound. I’ve heard the singles off them but didn’t know about the whole album. You and Samantha have a lot in common in it not really taking any alcohol for nekkidness to occur. I, however, have to get everyone else drunk for it to be OK for me to take my clothes off.

Nice to see pics of your dogs, cute and happy.

    Hi Chunkster, nice pic!

It’s a damn shame that your dogs are better looking than I am.

Good luck on your diet. I’ve been on a few myself.
