Day 1 in Nashville - Tish Meets Osbasso

As most of you know, I drove to Nashville on Friday to meet some of the other HNT Bloggers. I took a passenger to keep me company!

The name of this state park always makes me laugh. I finally got a photo of it!

I saw a beautiful rainbow along the way. It sure wasn’t easy to take pics of it while driving!

I got into Nashville during rush hour, and it was getting dark by that point. I ended up taking a wrong turn and going east on I-24 when I should have been going west. The traffic was horrible, and I was sandwiched between semi trucks. I was near tears and was almost ready to set up permanent residence in Nashville just so I wouldn’t have to worry about finding my way back home. By this point, Osbasso was already in Nashville, so my only hope was to call him for help. And seeing that he lives in Montana, I wasn’t sure how much help he’d be. Fortunately, however, he was able to navigate me with the help of Mapquest! I finally made it to my hotel room and got cleaned up and ready to go out to dinner.

Os and I decided to go to Hooters - only because I’d passed by it a dozen times during my scenic tour of Nashville. I convinced Os that I could find the place again. Well, I finally did, but it took about an hour. I have absolutely no sense of direction! On the way, I discovered that Os had never been to Hooter’s before. He was in for quite a treat. But it wasn’t the girls that got his attention. When he checked out the menu, it was love at first sight!

We had hoped that some other Bloggers would decide to join us that night, but it didn’t work out that way. Ray Ray was making the 10 1/2 hour journey from Denton, Texas, and we talked to him while we were out. It was a fun night. We had a long conversation about many of you guys, but my lips are sealed!

*Day 2 photos coming soon!*
