Unspoken Words

I had such a smile on Tuesday, and over such a silly thing! I was driving home from work, and I noticed a car pull up beside me. I was in the right lane; it was in the left. I glanced over, and there were 4 young guys looking at me. There was a cute Hispanic guy in the front passenger seat. He smiled and waved. I smiled and waved back. Over the next couple of miles, the car came up beside me several times. And each time, that guy would smile his shy smile. I finally got near my home, so I sped up and got in front of them so that I could make my turn. As soon as I did, I had to stop at a traffic light. I looked in my rearview mirror, and the guy was holding up a magazine, open to a page of a long-haired brunette in a swimsuit. He was smiling, and showing me the picture. I couldn’t tell who the photo was of, nor could I tell exactly what message the guy was trying to convey. But I think he was telling me that I looked like that woman. I smiled and gave another wave before I took my turn. Such simple gestures without a single spoken word, but they really brought a smile to my face! Now, if only I had a body like that gal in the swimsuit - I’d have a permanent smile!
